What I want to blog about is what I've been learning in my worldview class.
First, I read Dr. Jekyl and Mr. Hyde. I observed the worldview of this book.
I then did the same with Frankenstien.
I observed the worldview of each book.
The world view of Jekyl and Hyde is that Man is basically evil. That no matter what he does, he always messes up. That even when he tries his best to be good, he still fails.
This book was the one with the Christian worldview. (Although the author of the book wasn't)
The worldview of Frankenstien, was that when man does things that are bad, its the fault of others. That man is basically good. It says that man essentially isn't responsible for his actions. Its other people's fault if he does something bad.
Then, after i read these two books, I read the book "The deadliest monster"
Its a book that compares the worldviews of JH, and Frankenstien in a lot more detail.
I thought it was a very interesting book, learning about the different worldviews.
Then, after I read these books, I started reading "Know why you believe"
Which was my favorite book out of these.
The book essentially describes why you should believe in Christianity.
The book essentially describes why you should believe in Christianity.
Then, I started reading "Mere Christianity"
Which is by C.S Lewis.
I haven't finished it, but it looks good!
Oh! I really enjoyed going through Know Why You Believe and Mere Christianity! I hope you enjoy it too!
